How to Set an Appointment With Yourself
at Should a Personal Appointment Cover?

Your personal appointment should answer several key questions:

1. What are the results I’m getting in the different areas of my life?
2. What mistakes am I making frequently?
3. What do I need to stop?
4. What extra energy/money/time do I have to invest?
5. Where would that investment create the best returns?

Question One: What Are My Results?
Why Gathering Results is Crucial
Question Two: What Mistakes Am I Making Frequently?
Question Three: What Do I Need To Stop?
Question Four: What Extra Can I Invest?
Question Five: What Should I Invest In?
Here are some suggestions if you aren’t sure what might be a good investment with your energy, money or time:

1. Habits. Overview the habits that run your life. What you eat, when you sleep, whether you exercise and how you work. Decide to invest some of your energy in changing just one of them for the next month.
2. Learning. Pick up several books on a topic you want to know more about. It could be a practical topic that will build expertise in your field. Or it can be information outside your expertise to build broader understandings.
3. Social. Join a club, spend time with new people or building existing relationships. Decide what you are going to do to improve the quality of time you spend with other people.
4. Project. Start a new project, business or hobby. Personal projects often get pushed aside when you get busy. But the value of these projects can be tremendous. Without a personal appointment, most of my projects never would have gotten off the ground.
5. Goals. Set a new goal to pursue. How can you hit a target you don’t even have?

Five Hints to Reclaim Time for Yourself
Use your commute time
A few minutes of looking at life this way each day can really bring your own inner being to the fore, and lead to a new and more empathetic understanding of the world around you.
Take some time between tasks
Use the time — it could be as short as a minute — to reaffirm to yourself what is truly important
Mornings are golden
Having time for yourself as soon as you wake up also makes you more centred as you approach the day’s multifarious tasks — a little like putting money in the bank.
Make sure your time stays your time
If you truly want your time to be exactly that, then hit the off button, and make any other arrangements you need so that no-one will disturb you.
When you do get time to yourself, use it!
How we use the time we do get has a big bearing on whether we will actively seek to create that time in future.

Unproductivity: 8 Fantabulous Ways to Make the Most of Your Laziest Days
sourse
Here are my most favoritest ways of making the most of an unproductivity-filled day:
Find something fun to do.
2. Kill distractions (if you find smth new, don't waste all your time on it)
3 Put something dreadful at the top of my list.
4. Just relax. OK, so you don’t get anything done today. Does the world end?
5. Take a walk. Sometimes you just need to get the blood circulating.
6. Take a shower. If you work at home (like I sometimes do), it’s very tempting to just get up and start working in your pajamas (or worse).
7. Take a nap. The ultimate unproductivity tool.
8. Crank up the music. Nothing gets you going better than an upbeat tune. Seriously, give it a try. Anything that’s got a good beat will do. Here’s my current playlist of oldies, guaranteed to get you moving (money back if it doesn’t work!):
